Wyoming is one of the leading jurisdictions for U.S. uranium production and has produced 230 million lbs of U308 since the first discovery1. The state ranks 11th of 84 global jurisdictions in the Public Policy Perception Index of the Fraser Institute Annual Survey of Mining Companies 20212.
The Great Divide Basin of south-central Wyoming is site of the Company’s Cyclone Uranium Project, and is one of the largest, yet least exploited of the Wyoming Basins known to contain significant uranium deposits. Important uranium deposits in the basin include the Crooks Gap mining district, the former Sweetwater open pit mine, and the currently operational Lost Creek in-situ recovery mine of Ur Energy. Nearby property owners to the Cyclone project include Uranium Energy Corp. and UR-Energy Inc.
